So, Sal (ugh) knows she is a chimera and that there are others like her...more or less. She thought she was human up till now but not suddenly she's willing to throw her human parents under the bus for her chimera brothers and sisters? Just like that? More reason to dislike her. in her loyalty she is disloyal.

I'm still conflicted. I am interested in this story. I'm interested enough to keep moving forward. vs. I hate Sal more by the page. I do not sympathize with her nor do I understand her. She is downright hatefully annoying. She's the queen of Mary Sue. Part of this hate is due in part to her personality. The other part is due to the writing. I don't feel like the author trusts me to get "it". Too much repetition.

Ok. Not zombies. Chimera. Still don't like Sal. I'm not entirely opposed to Mary Sues, but Sal definitely is and I don't care for her, human or not.
