I am re-reading this book again. The brain is very smart, it only remembers the things we use. When it comes to mastering some abstract concepts, my experience is that you probably need to repeat it five to six times. There are a number of books that I re-read every year, just 2-3 hours to refresh the mind and active recall.

What do you think of this so far?

Although some chapters may be difficult (e.g., SVD), it is not due to the author's inadequacy but rather the complexity of the concepts. The concepts often build upon one another, necessitating a strong memory to piece everything together.
