Thoughts after reading chapter 1:
- This is amazing:
- The reality of this depiction of slavery is very sad. To think people actually lived like this not so long ago.
- “A wise man makes his home where his feet are planted.” As someone who’s constantly travelling back and forth between countries I feel this.
