It’s so hard to put this book down! I’m flying through chapters faster than I thought. The story is definitely something i’ve been looking for, for a while. Continuing on if I still feel the same it might be a buy.

Wow. Ended to chapter 9 and the back story hasn’t fully delved but this has really intertwined between studying cases (which I had a hunch) and family. For the grandfather to be the astronomy professor and have interest in the unknown but case by case really sets off a difference for people. People that know these stories know they’re followed by families. I’m overly excited about this.

The pacing has slowed a bit and the first 24 hrs are almost up to find the missing grandson. I enjoy reading from the view of the grandmother, i’m guessing there might be more perspectives in the story. But so far, out of hearing “irl” abductions and
this story one, it reminds me of the Missing 411 stories/cases. What you would expect or gather from someone’s family going through similar.

It’s definitely fast pace. “The lights took him” love how it’s just jumping right in! Terrifying idea that keeps you away from the woods of the home you’ve known all your life.
