Padawan was from Obi-Wan perspective about his future as a Jedi and having Qui-Gon as a master.

Reading that was a bit emotional seeing as Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon seemed so well-matched and in sync in The Phantom Menace.

Now reading this which gives us Qui-Gon’s doubt about Obi-Wan is even more emotional. I had no idea they had such a rough start 🥺🥺🥺
