“I have to admit, I didn’t think very highly of you that day in the hospital. When Draco went home.” Hermione said, the alcohol in her making her spill her thoughts. Narcissa hummed into a snort.
“And why the bloody hell not?” She asked with a laugh. “I’m a very likable person. I had more friends at Hogwarts than any of my sisters. Andie included!”

“Trust me, there is something lighter about the way he walks these days. Thank Merlin too, he really could be such a moper.”

*snorts*

“Narcissa surprisingly turned to Hermione and asked if she was busy for the rest of the afternoon.
“Oh I’m not actually. Nothing going on..” She said.
“Would you like to continue drinking? I have to say I forgot how fun it can be to have a companion to get tipsy with during a nice day.”

“I assumed the time and attention I give you would be enough to convey my feelings for you. But if it’s not clear to you; yes, you are indisputably mine and I am unequivocally yours, Hermione.”

“Hermione entered the floo and shouted his address, hoping the answers would come to her once she stood in front of him.
They did not.”

“Did you have fun with Auntie Hermione?” She asked him and he nodded.
“And Draco!” He exclaimed happily.
Hermione froze in horror and her eyes went wide as she stared at her snitch of a godson.”

“Watch the seeker, James. And remember to tell daddy I was better.” She heard the faint conversation as she entered the room, seeing Draco sat on the ground with James in between his legs. They were watching the figurine set of two quidditch teams play, charmed to actually play.”

“Is this supposed to be you?” He asked, showing her the portrait of her James drew. She furrowed her brow.
“How in the hell could you tell?” She asked and Draco shrugged while fighting off a grin.
“The hair is spot on.”
