Rereading to remind myself why I strongly dislike both the hero and the heroine.

I don't get it. Did she not tell the authorities about the interview? Because why aren't those with ample resources looking into it? Why is this principal witness working that angle alone? Decent investigative reporter, my ass. The only one doing a competent job is the freaking hero.

Also, I'll probably like this better if the MCs didn't spend a whole year yearning for each other after that one-night stand.

I do not understand the characters in this book. And I have a very bad feeling I'm about to deal with another pigheaded heroine here.

It's hard to not draw parallels between this and Julie James's Something About You . Might be affecting my thoughts about this book so far.
