The early life of Malcolm shows the early years of a very intelligent person who is slowly entranced by the culture of hustling. His awareness of what's behind the curtain of society encourages his own view of how he fits into a world that is divided violently by race.

The more I read, the more I respect the character of X. Pretty much any conversation on racial tension I've heard I can identify as an echo of the intelligence of Malcolm X. I can only imagine what he would've been capable of if he didn't have to focus on addressing the atrocities of the white man to the black man. I believe his ideology holds relevance to more than just race, too.

Everything up to this point has been basically a blow by blow Scorsese script.
