Always heartbreaking that the little ones are the ones who are impacted by war the most. When ML asked her papa if they can go back to their untouched by Germany soldiers home soon and W’s younger sister’s opposed to him going to the school because she knows what Germany is telling their ppl is a lie and her big brother might be sent to the battle field and he’d make her worst nightmare come true.

Are women more against the war than men? Reading the part where the war is slowly but certainly beginning and taking away the life you have is really scaring me out. But we might be in a similar situation given what’s going on with the world. It’s just we are not seeing yet

Warner is taking the entrance exam to enroll the nazi youth school to get out of the children house where he’s doomed to work at a coal site. The girl and his papa are on their way to the town where his uncle lives in. Papa is also carrying the stone which can be fake but could be the real one passed by the director. Not figured out yet what role the stones playing in this story…
