Ok, a character dies and all I feel is, "OMFG, this is so badly written!"

Inconsistent characters, "Elise had talked about her dress so much...", I thought she was the quiet one?

"I just don't want to put someone in jail. That's not a princess's job. Magistrates do that." Talk about whiny and childish! America complains that hungry men should not be put into jail, but then says Magistrates can do it. What kind of Princess would you be when you shirk from your responsibilities, especially when you see injustice being done?

"Funny feeling in my arm" seriously? That's how you describe getting shot?
