Part of having a TBR of at least 63 books is there's books like this that seem interesting in theory until a random number generator picks it as your next book and you suddenly have zero interest in actually ever reading it. Wish me luck

Arguably better than first impressions had me thinking it would be, but also a slightly hard read in the sense of the traumatic past the main character and her mother had. Main character seems a little too sullen for my taste, but that's also most likely a me problem

It's arguably better than I thought when I started it but I stand by my statement that if it hadn't been for a random number picker, I would've continued to skip over it until I eventually got rid of it
