I’m having trouble understanding how they have been on a team together for 4 years hating each other and not passing the puck and this is only now become an issue. How was this not addressed by their coaches at the very first practice their freshman year? Is that going to get explained? They say they were so used to being rivals for so long but now they have been teammates for longer. Doesn’t add up.

I just finished this one! It does get explained, but in short this is the first year that they've been on the same line so they've never really had to play so closely together even though they've been teammates for years.
