OMFG. HOW would the bad guy know that was her driving down the isolated country road in her brand new truck? It's a completely impromptu trip!

Um...she went out to find them mucking out a stall, how is she "crossing the room" to the kitchen sink? Does anyone read these books for continuity? Ever?

I find it hard to believe that a 20-something who just lost all of her stuff in a fire's plan for the immediate future is to wear her ex-boyfriend's dead mother's clothes and shoes...like, that's what she wore yesterday (hours after the fire), she hasn't done any shopping, and today there's no mention of her doing anything different, so...?

Um...telling someone they look like they were just hit by a brick less than 24 hours after a brick was thrown through their front window seems...insensitive? Especially since the person saying that to her is the one she called to file the police report... SMH
