Don’t get me wrong. I love the heroine. But she is a therapist and yet doesn’t seem to be conscious of her own mental health needs. Also, she just said that the teenager was doing better and she was seeing the “real” her. Depressed folks are real too. Just because someone isn’t happy doesn’t make them any less “real”.

The term cottage country gave it away. I hope the sex scenes are accurate to how we do it up here. 🤣

Makes sense. It’s cold so you gotta really like someone to take your clothes off. if they do a move called the slap shot, or the Moose Jaw mambo it’s authentic. Also putting on a condom is called “toquing up” or “taping your hockey stick” so if you read those terms be aware.

As a lifetime hockey lover and therefore someone with great adjacency to a LOT of Canadians throughout my life, I have somehow NEVER HEARD toquing up and I'm SCREAMING 🤣🤣🤣

FYI I made all of that up, our sense of humour is warped up here and I assumed everyone would get I was taking the piss out of Canadians. But moose knuckle and beaver diving are both actual things.
