Julia, daughter of Augustus, wife of Agrippa - she couldn't get pregnant again if she knew she was carrying Agrippa's child? Now if she or any other woman releases multiple eggs and has multiple partners within the fertilization window this is true. Not really the subject of this evolutionary biology book.
