Felipe Arraño For Robert Kennedy, the shadow of JFK was both a burden and an advantage (p. 456). In June 1968, Robert Kennedy is shot after winning a primary (pp. 462-462). After the assassination it was said that there was no longer a major political figure active in the field who could transform the nation (p. 462). The motivation of the murder seemed irrelevant (p. 463). Sirhan Bishara Sirhan’s role as assassin of Robert Kennedy is the fact that he acted without the support of anyone (political party, underground group or ideological backing), it was a private killing supported by his childhood’s traumas and injustice perpetrated by Israel and its ally, the USA (p. 465). Conspiracy theories behind the assassination (pp. 468-469). Andy Warhol (pp. 477-479). Valerie Solanas who would in tine aspire to be Warhol’s assassin (pp. 480-481). Solanas shot Warhol the day before Bobby Kennedy had been shot; Warhol was clinically dead for one and a half minutes (pp. 483-484). Warhol refused to press charges against Solanas (p. 485). From bow on, the USA assassination would be equivocally ideological and at heart insane (p. 486).
