Nelson Demille writes like he's sitting at a bar, drinking beer, eating greasy peanuts and telling you the story of his crazy day, including all of his hilarious side-thoughts along the way. After reading 900 pages of Shantaram which by the end was like eating broccoli because I knew it was good for you, this is like eating an endless box of pizza. Really enjoying it.
