I will say, I'm over the "the dad is still in love with his first wife and mentions it all the time but it's okay because we don't like the stepmother anyway" trope

Like, no, it doesn't absolve the stepmother of her actions but also, I can't imagine marrying someone and knowing I'll never measure up to his dead wife and I'm definitely being compared to her at all times...💔

The best part of reading a new book is finding a character to project your entire personality onto and I've decided for this book it's Larissa. She's everything I aspire to 😘

She better 1) be in this book more and 2) not end up being evil, I will be so mad 🤣

I have zero concept of the timeline in this book, I thought this was days, but apparently it's been months

Do I care? Nope. Gonna keep devouring this lovely book xD
