I'm crazy about this book. I already loved CS Lewis for his fiction and religious works, but his literary works make me want to be best friends with him - and feel like we really are best friends while I'm reading.

Wow, much of this seems almost direct exposition of Charlotte Mason's ideas about children as born persons and living books. (Sadly, still as revolutionary at Lewis' time as Mason's.)
