From what I gathered, it’s a reworked version of his Omnilogos series. Most of those books seem to have been published in Italian only.

I have to admit, the story’s a lot different from what I was expecting it to be. I haven’t quite figured out if that’s a good thing or a bad thing yet. It’s rather unique, I’ll tell you that much.

Yes, it's a rework of Omnilogos. I read that in his newsletter. But somehow, I didn't want to try a series without knowing about its quality for sure. Will keep an eye out for your review. :)
