I genuinely am falling in love with this but god is it hard to follow at times

I really do love the writing style but it’s hard to keep up with all the characters and plot

Wanted to read this whole thing and finish Moby Dick by the end of March, learnt I will be reading Moby Dick for my only lit class (American literature and philosophy of the 1800s) next semester so Melville is on the back-burner. I really do struggle with this but it is a rewarding text, and I sure as hell prefer this writing to The Mill in The Floss.

I’m gonna finish this if it kills me.
