UGH I was seriously loving this series, but my brain is on now. We are 4 books in and honestly, not a lot makes sense. Also she's all woe is me I keep hurting my familiars BY HAVING EMOTIONS. They are hurt by her negative emotions or just don't want her to have them and that's not how it friggin' works! People are allowed to grieve and feel guilt and SLOWLY work through it.
