Trying to finish this novel (it's actually two)... I hate not finishing. But gosh, she's still not wearing her glasses (!!!!!) And I just cant 🤦 Macomber says in the beginning that these are older writings of hers when she was just starting so maybe not as good as later ones but man it's painful at times lol. This is why I don't read romance (and it's better than 50 shades hahahaha)

Ah, the old - if I take off my glasses I'll be pretty trope 🤦🏼♀️ also, scary men are hot... Debbie Macomber said in the foreward that she wrote these books very early in her career and they've been edited so they're not so dated. And it's a romance novel, but I'm groaning 😂

This is better than I expected. Easy romance fluff. Just what I need for those little 5 minutes here and there during the day, the other books I started are a bit plot heavy and I need to pay attention to details
