i don't think i've ever read anything where the writing is, on the sentence level, so similar to my own? he writes very long, descriptive sentences with multiple clauses and lots of commas, but the narrative is clear and linear. i'm really enjoying this so maybe i'm flattering myself but it's bizarre to read someone writing in a voice so similar to mine
