I'm failing to see how Subsaharan Africa experienced a major change in how people studied science in the 15th & 16th c. I don't see the difference from existing tradition, or adoption of what contemporary Islamic astronomers are doing.

Holy conflation Batman! He's really struggling with being accurate and general. How did Ali Qushji publish The Tables of the Sultan in Samarkand in 1473 when his patron/co author was killed in 1449? Turns out he didn't but used data collectes there. WHY COULDN'T U SAY THAT?!?!
