I wish this book would end. I guess it will. It would end faster if I would read it more, but that's a steep price. Ugh.

I'm planning a unit on Romeo and Juliet and focusing on how societal pressure affects (and crushes) the society's children and their happiness. I like this book because the kids are, to the best of their ability, wrapped up in their own drama, but even if they remain so, the world will still crash in on them. It's also cute how dated it is; the kids have pagers and hang out in chat rooms called "Teen Talk." Cheese.:)
