The problem with logging books on Goodreads this semester is that I have 2000+ pages to read that are sections of books or journal articles to read. Oh well.

I know exactly what you mean. I read a fair amount, but don't read a ton of books in their entirety, so there are a large number of pages I've read that goodreads doesn't know about. I imagine seminary would make it even more prevalent.
*laughs in 7 (and counting) 1000 page casebooks*
