i couldn't finish this book, the start is too slow and that bores me a little bit because i need something more suspenseful and thrilling if it's murder mystery. i do appreciate the writing and how the time period is described though, you have to be educated in order to write in detail about a past time period.

The DRAMAAAA is insane with this poor friar and literally everyone. Bro’s just trying to promote good living and how greed for money is a sin, and how getting money from things you didn’t work for is also bad - everyone’s a hater because they know he’s right 😒 he’s kinda suspicious though, sorry Hugo but I think you mind end up being a murderer 😕

I wonder what’s gonna happen between Avice and the dude who had his eyes on while their dad’s met on the road🤪
