It’s been a year since I’ve picked this book up, and since then my worldview has changed so that i no longer find the constant misunderstanding & lack of communication entertaining or endearing. It’s annoying, petulant & pointless.
The cognitive distortions these characters possess are so blatantly obvious & purposefully skewed, it is maddening.
I couldn’t be friends with any of these people 😵💫

If you wish to learn, you must first put yourself in a position to learn, one, by admitting that you do not understand.
And if you have understanding, you must keep in mind that you do not understand everything, in order to understand even more.
…And sometimes it’s in your best interest to just play stupid 😆
