i wish i was back in undergrad so i could write a 10 pg. paper about how so much of what she says (while at times deeply problematic by today's standards) can be directly linked to different feminist theory. i also wish i had a degree in psychology so i could analyze her self-loathing (a lot of it is due to trauma). i just want to give her a big hug.

let's be real, this is no different than last year when i read fran drescher's book after binge-watching all of The Nanny when it hit HBO Max. if i'm reading a 10 year old memoir, chances are i have a crush on the celebrity who wrote it LOL
