so tell me again why Colton is obsessed with Annie? there are obviously other nicer and less desperate girls in his class. totally called Mo and his love guru-ing backfiring. Nikki turned out to be normal and nice - why doesn't Colton like her??

I'm not really liking Annie. I know that I was stupid as a teenager, but she's too pushy for my taste. maybe it's a comment on how differently people act via text as opposed to in person or by phone, but it comes across as desperate. while this is pretty accurate for a 16 year old, I'm sort of hoping Colton doesn't end up with her. Mo is hilarious and I know this will all backfire

This story reminds me a lot of middle school and high school where I'm pretty sure this situation happened happened multiple times. Texting can be such an impersonal and problematic mode of communication but we use it so much all the same.
