Sumner helped me appreciate more what I personally consider two lower-tier Vonnegut titles (Mr. Rosewater and B of Cs)—both strike me as clumsy and crude, but Sumner argues for why they couldn't have been any other way.

Jason Pierce Come on, dude. It's not that hard to follow. A virgin lit the black flame candle which brought the Sanderson sisters back, and they had to keep them from using that youth potion before the sun rose the next morning...

Still, I guess if you're expecting a baby at any moment, even Jack and Jill would be hard to pay attention to.
