So far, quite breezy to read. I'm annoyed that Evans just barely skims the surface of the German revolution in a dismissive, ultralib way. He might as well have completely ignored it.

It’s getting really tiring to deal with Evans’ habit of blaming communists every chance he gets, up to petty attempts at comparing their street warfare tactics to brownshirts, while he clearly worships the social democrats. It’s the smug arrogance of a liberal centrist who thinks he is the apolitical arbiter of truth and no one can accuse him of holding on to any ideology.
