I don't find a lot of indie books from Wisconsin, where I'm from, much less a fantasy. I got lucky finding this at my library. I'm interested in where this goes, and I'm enjoying the sort of found-family thing between the mc Liara and the wizard Nagarath. Liara can be annoying at times, though. Chalk it up to being a teenager and wanting to know everything, I guess.
