Shelving this. Maybe I'll go back to it again, maybe I won't. The family tree is obviously very well thought out, but none of the stories have gripped me and won out against all the other stuff I'm reading.

Picking this up again after months. Partly because I do want to finish it, partly because I am avoiding my other books, which are not feeling that interesting right now.
The writing does feel like it's meandering, but that's probably because I'm not in the rhythm of the story yet.
