William stepped back in confusion. "Forgive my forwardness, sir. I only wanted to get your attention."
Robert gave him another sparking look. "You have it. Don't waste it."
Yes, you have it :-) William is gonna be interesting. Such a short temper...

I think I enjoyed that a lot more than I would have talk about political intrigue (OMG THAT WAS SO HOT). Lucky me William forgets all coherent thoughts once he sees Richard, lol
William cleaned himself on the drying-cloth then crawled toward his discarded clothes and dressed. It was only as he crept from the bedchamber that he realised he hadn't warned his lord about the dangers awaiting him tomorrow.

Uhhh, I love the dense atmosphere, the short but intense conversations between William and Richard.
William and Richard both strike me as interesting characters. William is so ambitious and ready to prove himself at any rate. Richard is the confident leader, yet his desire and selflessness regarding William make him vulnerable and human.

OMG, that was so hot. What a fantasy come true, to be visited at night by a stranger and be pleasured. Such a vivid scene, too.
And although the descriptions of the place are only sketchy, I have a pretty good sense of it. Very atmospheric and subtle writing.
Thank God for awesome writers.
