Hellu Have you read Wilder's Mate? Sounds like you might like it, based on the tags on this one :) Also steampunk, romance and sort of shapeshifter. But they're not shapeshifters per se, more like hybrids. But there are vampires too. I really liked the series.

I have it on my Kindle. I'm in a challenge and our bonus is Historical/Steampunk. Up until this month I hadn't given either genre's a passing thought, but I have to say, as reluctant as I was in the beginning, I've enjoyed all the books I've read in these genres :D

Hellu I haven't read much of either. Even less steampunk. But I've liked both Moira Rogers' historical and historical/steampunk :) As for historical, it can be good if it's well written.

The m/m group LL event had a fair few historicals which were great. Blood In The Water (An Act of Piracy, #1) by Tami Veldura The Case of the Insufferable Slave by Gillian St. Kevern A Heart of Klondike Gold by E. Davies There are more but those are the titles I've read :D
