side note: maybe this is just because I empathized with the character a lot but I’m glad the author chose to let (for spoilers sake I’ll call them you know who) live. perhaps it would’ve been more realistic for them to die but as someone who can relate to a lot of their wounds I’m glad there was still some sort of reconciliation and light at the end of the tunnel

it always comes back to capitalism and maintaining the status quo

I think my least favorite type of villains are the deranged human experiment type mad scientists
(it’s not like they’re bad to read or anything they’re just least favorite in terms of they disgust me the most)

the origins and overall saving grace vibe the butterfly goddess has is so at odds with the more sciency nature of the story

why read the metamorphosis when this does the job

why do my favorite ones always end up being really sketchy 😭

I didn’t really want this series to have romance but that’s genuinely the worst possible way to turn someone down 😭
