So far, I will say ... don't hold your breath.

Not far into it, but so far it reads like EVERY other book published in the last 5 years that is set in Georgian England and told from the point of view of a young woman.
Nothing special or vaguely intriguing so far... :(

On the other hand, I don't think I've ever read a book set in Georgian England that hasn't been written by someone that's been dead for at least a few centuries, so I may find something in this book provided the mythology aspect has something to offer?

Yeah, that side of things - the mythology part - is not looking great at this moment. But ... it's early days.

So far it's got a more romance-y touch to it.

Sophie Have you read The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman? It is set in late 18th-century Bristol and it is excellent.
