so many POVs is working better here than it did in book 1 - the characters actually have some interaction so it feels more cohesive, but sometimes it still feels a bit lost. there are so many threads to follow and they’re only just pulling together at the end. Aisha and Eesa in particular feel entirely separate from the others

however the world itself slaps and the individual stories are good.
