I wonder when Rashad is going to come back to school. Even though it might break the theme with the "RashadIsAbesentAgainToday" hashtag, the question I want answered is when is he going to come back to school and what are going to be the reactions of the teachers and student body? I predict that it may create a more significant divide then present.

The two sides of the story are a window to each other. I find myself finding a mirror in Quinn and a window in Rashad. One thing that acted as more of a window for me is when Quinn even though for most of the story was a mirror decided to wear a shirt with "I'm Marching... are you?" and I found it to be very empowering (Kiely and Reynolds 252). It made me think that people my age can make a difference.

Adversity impacted the view on Rashad. Guzzo even refers to Rashad as a "celebrity-victim" showing that the challenges he faced made other see him in a different light. In terms of Rashad he sees himself in maybe no the best of light with him having ptsd over the incident.

You can definitely see a type of unspoken rule coming up in the story. In Quinn's part of the story someone comes into the hall and asks, " You wonder why he did it?" and Quinn thought of Rashad doing something wrong (Reynolds and Kiely 124). It is almost like there was a code that they don't question what happens with their friend's family they don't think for a second that they did something wrong.
