I’m always listening to this book. I should just permanently leave it on my “Currently Readling” shelf.

So far, there are two whole chapters missing:
The chapter where Frannie tells her mother that she’s pregnant. That awful chapter where her mom freaks out and screams at her and slaps her. Calls her “bad girl” like she’s a dog.
We’re also missing the chapter where Larry goes to his mother’s place of employment to apologize for not calling when he stayed out all night. It was a short chapter. No big deal.

I’ve listened to and read the unabridged version of this book a hundred times. This time, I’m reading the book as it was originally released back in 1978.
First off, where’s the whole section about the Campion family running away from Project Blue in California? This just starts where they crash into Hapscomb’s gas station!

Hmm. The page numbers in my Kindle don’t seem to match the total number of pages this app says there are. lol
