this prose style is definitely not for me but i am trying sooo hard to stick with this one because every review is so in love with the story. i hate dnfing books but this one has me wavering even though i really want to like it 😔

honestly i did not like the prose of mark oshiro's other book but i think that was also their first book? so maybe they've improved?

YEAH i havent read their first book so i have no idea i just don’t personally vibe with it. maybe it’s a little too stream of consciousness????? idk
