Really hit a wall on this. Haven’t picked it up in days. The storyline is so dramatic and it’s literally all about sex which makes me doubt the “romance” part of the story.

It’s more of a story about people being in lust than in love. We’ve so quickly resolved the birthright/heir issue and there’s still 1.5 hours left. What is left to cover?

It’s giving…Varchie (I didn’t watch last season 1 so I that’s my reference) just list and sex driven with very little other connection. She says prove you love me and he’s like oh I’ll show you what this tongue can do and you’ll know. Like no baby that’s not right lol

I’m sorry did I mishear this or does this love story have our leads bond over the fact that both of their parents died of syphilis?

Nooooo girlie don’t move the goal posts. “If you can swear you’ll only bang me at least until you have an heir” when the previous point was “I’m not sleeping with you except to create an heir if you’ll be unfaithful and that means until we try for an heir you need to stop sleeping with other women so you don’t put us at risk of syphilis” is going backward

Cousin villain is super rude on condescending calling Gabriel a bastard and saying he’s going to take all his money away and his title yet is somehow shocked Gabriel isn’t going to sit there and listen to his BS?

Lol so our villain is going to lay out his whole evil plan where he proves that Gabriel is a bastard and claims the whole estate/title because *checks notes* Gabriel can’t prove he isn’t a bastard?
