Rubin’s book on creativity is split into tiny chapters. I read one each morning and then try to ‘sit with it’ during the day.
I’d recommend it.

I’m hooked on this already. If this was the first book you’d read on the creative process, Rubin doesn’t help the idea that creativity is some sort of magic.
His style is quite woo-woo spiritual, but there are kernels of truth in everything he writes.
Plus, I love how unashamedly his chapter summaries are written like ancient proverbs.
