I let this book "sit" for awhile at 25% read. Started reading it again yesterday. The characters have become more real. And now the story is begging for a good , no -- being honest -- the ending I hope it has.

Having a hard time "getting into" this book. Which...is quite unusual since Patricia Davids is one if my favorite Amish authors. Going to lay this aside and come back to it.
