I just finished My Sunshine Away and gave it 3 stars. It is the story, told by the main character, of his life growing up in Baton Rouge in the '70s and 80's. It is the story of his obsession with Lindsay and trying to get her to love him back. It is typical coming of age stuff, wrapped around a pivotal incident during childhood. But the author hits the reader over the head with important lesson
