Oh noooo! It’s a poem about the moon goddess and the author tried to make seas flow with Selene. But in Greek Selene is pronounced with a long ee sound at the end, so it doesn’t work at all. Girl, you cannot make these patterns work if you aren’t pronouncing the names of the gods night. I’m very frustrated right now.
