Yes! But I would not recommend it to everyone. It's meandering a lot and goes into a lot of metaphysical / spiritual ideas while also doing a fantastic job describing a boy living with what may or may not be a form of schizophrenia.
It's not as utterly fantastic as A Tale for the Time Being, but it is equally ambitious and there are some cross-overs.
I also love that Ozeki is doing something a little bit more experimental with the 4th wall and the different narrations.

It's fantastic if you're looking for a book that does something different stylistically while also telling a good story.

It's not a good recommendation for someone who needs a quick or streamlined plot and needs to be hooked from early on.

Sounds interesting. Might pick it up if I ever come across it.
