160-161: The Sedlec Ossuary (Kutná, Hora, Czech Republic); The Sonora Witchcraft Market (Mexico City, Mexico); Brain Museum (Lima, Peru); Capuchin Crypts (Palermo, Sicily); New Lucky Restaurant, (Ahmadabad, India).

This entry is pretty cool (and definitely fits the 'creepy' description). Don't know if I'd want to visit these places, however interesting they are to read of.

Done! The actual book part, at least. The last chapter is facts, games, etc.

I wonder how bright an idea it is to give a bunch of mischievous kids the recipe for fake blood... I can see at least one parent being faked out by an 'injury' of some kind after the kid reads this. LOL.

I'm finally past the alien section, which is where I started to lag. UFOs have never really been my thing. Hopefully this section is a little better, and the ESP/Random creepy stuff balances out the Bermuda Triangle and conspiracy theory stuff.

This is, I know, a weird 'pet peeve'... But why do people always refer to some monsters/creatures in horror stories or legends or whatever as being cannibals?

Here it's the Rakshasa - a humanoid demon, yes, but it's still NOT HUMAN. It doesn't matter how many people it supposedly eats, it'll never be a cannibal (unless there are stories not mentioned here that have them eating each other).

So, mid-to-late 1700s. There's plenty of travel going on, since the slave trade would still be pretty steady at this point, as well as the Europeans invading Africa and creating colonies.

So with all the trade & travel, why is it so incomprehensible that the 'werewolf' was a hyena? Some idiot couldn't have brought one back for his 'menagerie' and let it get loose?
